Plunger Set

Plunger coffee originated in mid-19th century France and is a slow, gentle method of brewing that prevents the ground coffee from being exposed to the boiling process or pressure. Coffee brews in the carafe before being filtered by pushing the metal piston, forcing the grounds to the bottom of the carafe. This results in a full-flavoured, easy drinking coffee that is quite different from modern-day brewing methods.
